Dear Colleagues,
I'm doing a little research for a small nonprofit in the Boston area
that is looking for security and remote backup options.
This nonprofit currently has one PC and two laptops. The laptops are
on loan and will go back to the lender within the year.
They have no file server. They currently use flash drives for file
sharing and for backup. Backups occur every month (or so).
They are an umbrella group, and do not have much in the way of
sensitive data (eg., case management files, with HIV status or
immigration status).
They are considering an online remote backup service called Carbonite,
and currently using the demo version.
Any suggestions? The ideal choice would one that is currently used by
many satisfied nonprofit organizations that are small and working on a
tight budget.
Many thanks from Deborah
