Dear ISF Colleagues,
Andy Carvin recently wrote a blog article about how emergency response
teams can use Twitter:
"Can Twitter Save Lives?"

I've been doing some reflecting of my own in a blog article:
"Too much information and too much transparency? Or a smart tool for
disaster response?"

One of the ideas that occurred to me is that some of us could try out
Twitter (under non-emergent conditions) at the upcoming Nonprofit
Profit Technology Conference in Washington, DC.
In order to give this a try, I have now set up a Twitter account. If
you'd like to give this a try at the NTC in April, please go to
<http://twitter.com/deborah909> and invite me. Just put the
abbreviation "ISF" in the message field, and I'll know that you're
referring to this message.
Many thanks and best regards from Deborah
