I'm the part-time IT guy for a 12-person advocacy and organizing group in San Francisco. Since we share an office with a few other organizations, I support roughly 20 users. The organizers with one of our projects recently came to me requesting a shared address book, so that they always have access to each other's contacts in Outlook. I took a closer look at Exchange server, and given our plans for growth, I think we'll want several of the features it offers within the next year or two.
A few questions for my esteemed fellow techies:
1) Are their other good options besides Exchange?
2) Who would you recommend for external Exchange hosting?
3) How many hours per month should I plan on spending to administer an in-house exchange server if we go that route?
Thanks much,
