(ISF) Thoughts on Adobe Contribute vs. Word Press?

Hi everybody,

First-time list-server here. We're working on developing a new website and
are talking with a couple of different designers. In the realm of CMS, do
people have thoughts and/or experiences with using Adobe Contribute and
WordPress? These are the programs the designers I've spoken with use--they
allow us to edit content and so forth, but I'm wondering if one or the other
trades ease of use for power of application or vice versa.

Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks!

Leigh,

You should consider a Content Management System if you can - LOTS of
information all over the internet - but in the nonprofit community,
three tools are egerging as standards: Plone, Drupal, and Joomla -
