It's been a while since I updated the lists about how we're progressing on the project so thought it timely to do so.
I reported in the August/September Round-Up News Digest (http://www.lasa.org.uk/circuitriders/crnewsdigest2.pdf) as follows:
"The quality and standards project took a leap forward with a very successful action-packed day-long event in July. The results of the day and the presentations from our researchers Summit Collaborative and ADP Consultancy can be downloaded from www.lasa.org.uk/circuitriders/training.shtml
Lasa is currently analysing the outcomes of the meeting and planning the way forward. Our top priorities include: publishing an updated list of circuit rider principles; updating and seeking consultation on a set of ICT standards for organisations upon which to build a skill-set for Riders; and establishing a training path for Riders based on peer exchange, collaborative online resources, mentoring and partnership. We will also be looking to set up an advisory group to steer the process over the next months."
Since then the advisory group has been set up and will have its initial meeting in early November. The meeting will consider the updated principles along with the benchmark ICT standards which are being prepared currently and a draft "logic model"; which outlines the outcomes we expect to work to and indicators of success.
