Howdy.
I'm currently geeking at an educational robotics NPO based
in Norman, Oklahoma, USA. Amongst other things, we run the
Botball Educational Robotics program ( http://www.botball.org ).
It's a typical NPO technologist gig, in that my job
includes everything from fixing the printer to adding new
features to our custom LAMP applications, with a little dash
of robotics controller tech support thrown in for flavor.
I'm new to the group, having signed up just after I got
back from NTC in Seattle earlier this week. I dug the
conference a lot. In particular, I enjoyed meeting and
talking with so many great people who are facing more or
less the same challenges and "points of pain",
and I'm hoping to continue that sort of networking online.
