This survey is part of a larger project to understand the current environment and challenges around grants management software, supported by a coalition of foundations and organizations including the Mott Foundation, the Hewlett Foundation, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Packard Foundation, the Energy Foundation, and Solpath. Idealware, an independent non-profit software research organization, is conducting the survey on behalf of this coalition.
The results of this survey will be freely available to the public by the end of this year. The findings will also be used to aid in creating a free "consumers guide"; to grants management software that will help foundations understand the software available to them, the gaps in the current marketplace, and how to chose the best software for their own grants management needs.
