Just a quick update: thanks to a highly esteemed member of
the
Information Systems Forum, we were able to make contact with
some
folks at Kintera who are eager to address our Fundware
concerns.
-Harry Chiu, general manager for Fundware
-Holly Scheuble, director of product of managment
-Lynne Becker, VP health and social services vertical
-Dennis Chyba, SVP business units
We had a conference call with Harry and Holly, and Holly
will be
visiting us in person at the end of the week.
At this point, our main Fundware headaches are:
1) Security for fiscal sponsorship accounts, each of which
needs to be
segregated from all other accounts while allowing fiscal
sponsorship
clients to initiate and track their transactions
2) Integration with document management, workflow
management, digital
signature and (possibly) HR/payroll.
I don't know if the good folks from Kintera will be able to
come up
with workable solutions, but it's really good to talk to
people who
grasp the technical challenges and are willing to address
them.
