(ISF) Techsoup - are they having trouble?

I created a new organizational account and haven't been
able to log- in with it.  I emailed them about this two
weeks ago and haven't received a response (and again
yesterday).  I call the phone line and don't get through
after being on-hold for over 30 minutes.

I need to get two copies of windows xp, for new computers.

A year and a half or so back I registered with TechSoup (San
Francisco) and ordered software that took many months to
arrive. Last October I tried to order additional software,
but was told I was not registered. I mailed copies of my
paperwork along with my new order. Then I watched my order
sit there listed as "awaiting verification."
Periodically I tried without success to contact them via
phone, mail, email and harsh telepathy.

It wasn't all bad, however, a couple of weeks ago their
website allowed me to cancel my order without any difficulty
whatsoever.

Let's see if they respond to this message.

Hi Aaron,

TechSoup Stock does not offer Windows XP for new computers.
The only version of Windows XP they offer is an upgrade for
computers that already have a license for an earlier version
of Windows (or another operating system that is eligible for
upgrade).

If the computers you  have were donated to you, then you
could consider getting Windows 2000 through the Donated
Computer Operating System program. http://www.techsoup.org/stock/dcosprogram.asp?visit=1

Otherwise, your best bet is to buy a retail copy of Windows.
