[apologies for cross posting]
Has anyone actually tried using volume licensing Small
Business Server 2003 CALs with SBS 2000?
I know Microsoft's website says you may downgrade. But I
recall an issue a few years ago where, although you were
allowed to downgrade according to the terms of the license,
there was some technical change in how the server handled
licenses and it wouldn't actually accept the newer license
keys. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
So has anyone done it? And does it work?
Thanks,
Helen
