Dear Colleagues,

I'm searching for the best-of-the-best in handouts for an
entry level
workshop on databases for grassroots organizations. Most of
the
attendees will probably be accidental techies (or maybe
executive
directors) from small immigrant advocacy groups. We won't
be assuming
that they walk in the room knowing what a database is or
what it can
do.

Handouts available with a Creative Commons license are
especially
welcome, as are materials that are tailored to the needs of
a range of
learning styles. (As a visual learner, I always look for
terrific
illustrations.)

Many thanks and best regards from Deborah

Hi Deborah,

Is it just database fundamentals? Or are you also including
data modeling?
