I completely agree with everything everyone has said.
Currently, I am in a Masters of Public Administration
program, and I have discussed the lack of not just
technology, but the lack of "accountability" and
"strategic planning" I have seen in many of the
organizations I have worked for. What I also feel is that
as the growth in Non-Profits continues, there is going to be
a strong need not just for "technology capable
individuals" but individuals who understand
fundraising, and technology, currently I think there aren't
very many individuals who fit this catergory. YOu have
those individuals who understand code, and gathering
information, and programming, and individuals who can
fundraise, but not very many individuals who understand
both. The growth in Public Administration Programs I think
will change that, Non-profits, can't contiue to be
unorganized, and disconnected, and lack accountability.
