Zee and all,

This strikes me as a complicated set of moving pieces - and
one that anyone providing assistance to the nonprofit
community ought to have on their radar.

I'd strongly recommend anyone interested to keep their eyes
on a handful of websites - and to remember that you'll want
to read widely (if possible!) from both sides of the bench!

It would be easy to characterize this as a black and white,
good and bad decision - and a hasty leap to either of those
conclusions probably won't help a lot.

For information about Certified mail, I'd read:

www.goodmail.com
www.dearaol.com
www.eff.org

For information on Net Neutrality, I'd read:

www.savetheinternet.com
www.eff.org
www.commerce.senate.gov/hearings/witnesslist.cfm?id=1705
WWW.news.com.com/House+panel+votes+for+Net+neutrality/2100-1

I've read a bit about Net Neutrality (though almost
certainly not as much
as I should), and on its face it seems like a good thing.
What confuses
me is that I see a lot of the names on the NN bandwagon also
backing the
GoodMail thing, which seems to be the exact antithesis of NN
-- paying
extra cash to ensure that your bits get there before someone
else's. Am I
missing something?

Thanks,
s
