login and users

Hi all!

I am using Instiki in lots of places, and I enjoy the easy
access,
including not having to log in.

On the other hand, I would love to have a notify feature
where I mark a
page as interesting, and get emails whenever the page has
been updated.

I would like to implement this in Instiki.  Is this within
the spirit of
Instiki, or would I need to fork?

I would fokus the security only towards avoiding spam.  Easy
access is
still a priority.

hello uwe, of course, if you want to implement such a
feature, you
could just post a patch to the rubyforge page and i'm
implementing it
to trunk as soon as possible. no need to fork for that!

Excellent.  I thought I'd start after the 0.12 release.  Is
there a
schedule for this?

Will the 0.12 release be available by gem?

Is there a migration path for exisitng sites from 0.10 to
0.12?

0.12 was delayed, because i didn't have time yet to get
together all
the forks and patched versions. i hope to have 0.12 end of
june. most
of the delay was because of the move from textdrive-trac to
rubyforge-svn.
tell me if you want a contributor-access to the svn, tell me
your
rubyforge-id in this case and i can give you access.
