   Hi,

   I'm getting the following configure error with the latest
SVN checkout, 
using (mostly) Slackware 10.

   It's installed, v0.15.0 in this case. Not sure what's
going on, I've been 
updating Irssi regularly. This is the first time I've seen
this error in any 
project.

   Thanks for the tip. An updated pkg-config fixed the
problem. 
Unfortunately, the openssl libs/headers are no longer found
automatically by 
irssi's configure script, despite pkg-config reporting their
presence and 
correct location. Including the appropriate cppflags and
ldflags fixes this, 
however.
