When streaming live media with an event stream, by watching
the player statistics, I've notice that
after RealPlayer has lost an event packet, it stops
displaying new events.

If you press stop and play again, the player get the correct
event.
If there are various players connected, they don't stop all
at the same time.

>From the player statistics window, I've noticed the
following:
- if the player misses a packet
("ResendRequested" is incremented), and can't
get a resend for it
("ResendReceived" is not incremented), then the
player will not display any future event that is sent
- if the player misses a packet
("ResendRequested" is incremented), and get a
resend for it
("ResendReceived" is also incremented), there is
no problem
- the variable "Lost" is never incremented, like
it is for the video and audio streams, and for me,
that looks like the player enters an state of waiting
forever for the lost event packet

When testing on the local network it was hard to notice the
problem because it may take hours for
the player to lose an event packet, however, when streaming
over the internet it happens quite often
(usually in a few minutes).

For our tests we are using a modified version of the command
line producer, that can accept events,
and a small java app that cicle through a few URLs (that
contain images), generating an event every
20 seconds (this interval can be configured).
