certainly we would like to very much work with Paul and
other jack
developers on this. In fact there have been some messages
exchanged on
this very list with him, and with other jack developers
regarding the
video jack project.
However, you must understand that the videojack project has
its own
momentum and milestones. There are several video application
developers
who are currently in the process of implementing it to test
out the
current framework, and there is a good deal of excitement
about it.
We would welcome any input and assistance from the main jack
and jack
application devs. Our mailing list was created by the BEK
insistute in
Norway, who are a major sponsor of the video jack project.
Video jack
was announced as a project at last year's piksel 05, and
discussion of
it continued at this year's gathering. Anyone is welcome to
join the

and occasionally I will cross post messages to here.
I have asked before if our video patches could be included
in the main
trunk, and met with only a lukewarm reaction here.
