Gaming forums have mixed results about the fix, but it may
be related
to other OS parts,
not just QueryPerformanceCounter() calls.
Also they say AMD's fix adds kernel parameter
"usepmtimer" to
boot.ini. Seems, no black magic here.

I had not enough time today, on Monday I'll try to do more
deep
testing as our customers also need a solution.
