Hi,
I was under the impression that using the appropriate device
(in my
case hw:1,2) under a Tascam US-428 would allow you to record
from all
four channels however testing now suggests I was wrong in
this
(apologies to the chap I recently gave this advice to on
list).
Although specifying hw:1,2 allows jack to start with 4
available inputs
(it will, as expected, only start with two under hw:1,0 or
hw:1,1), I
get no actual sound from any of them if I try to record.
I can use inputs A and B fine under hw1:0 but I am currently
not
getting the benefit of the extra cost of the 4-channel
device.
Can anyone help me get input from all four simultaneously?
Google is
currently not delivering anything useful.
