noise input using digi 002 on mac book pro

Apologies if this is the wrong list, but has anyone had
problems using  
digi 002 audio interface on a macbok pro. Specifically using
JackPilot  
I get noise.

Are you correctly selecting the Digidesing driver in
JackPilot  
preferences? are you selecting the correct buffer size and
sample  
rate matching the one the Digi CoreAudio manager is using?
