Hi,

I know this is not the ardour list, but I have a hard time
to get hold
of anyone on those lists (besides most of you use Ardour
anyway, right?)

I opened a ticket on Ardour2 mantis, and in the mean time I
saw this is
a recurring issue. The generic midi control for the faders
is "Sticky".
It basically fights my control, and I had to downgrade again
to 0.99.3
to get my stuff done. I use a UM-1 USB Midi device,
connected to a DDX3216.

If I am mistaken, please let me know how to fix it (or
perhaps a
workaround if you know one)

I'd really like to start testing this for the 64Studio
distro, and would
appreciate any indication that the developers of ardour is
aware of this
problem. Apparently this was not an issue on Ardour2beta11,
but I
cannot verify it, as I use the Debian experimental packages
(beta12 only)

Regards
Quentin Harley

The silence I am getting everywhere makes me think that
either the mail
is not getting through, or the issue must be so simple that
no one want
to even speak to me.

If anyone has some advice, please let me know.

I have now removed Ardour2 completely, and using the old
0.99.3

Quentin

no, its just that these days you get much more rapid
feedback and help
on IRC than on mailing lists, for lots of different reasons.
we are
already looking into the issue. and yes, jackit-devel is
totally the
wrong forum for this.
