Hi Paul,
my sincere apologies for jumping to the wrong conclusions -
since you
had previously mentioned syncing video with audio in the
context of
videojack, I mistakenly assumed it was something to do with
that.
The design of videojack is not really very much different
from jack
audio, just that the rate is much slower (e.g. 25Hz instead
of 48000Hz),
and the buffer size is much larger (width*height*4)
The current set of videojack patches just add new port
types: video_in
and video_out, and add width and height properties to the
jack server.
There's not much special about the use of jack for video,
other than
what is mentioned above.
