Does anyone still use the JBoss serialization flag with
JBoss Cache?
Can support for this be ditched now? The reason I ask is I
have
implemented a new set of input and output streams for the
marshaller
to use, and these are based on the JDK OOS/OIS.
I *could* make these work with JBoss serialization as well,
but that
is unnecessary code I'd rather not have to maintain.
Thoughts?

How is it controlled again? Don't see a flag in
Configuration. If you
can let me know I'll check if any of the AS clustering code
does
anything with it. There was something about use of
jboss-serialization
in web session replication, but I think it was independent
of JBC usage.

A JVM system property.

OK, I found what I was thinking of. Nothing to do w/ JBC,
so, no, the
AS isn't using the JBC feature.
