Hudson inconsistencies - a question for the QA guys

A question for the QA guys on this list:

can anyone tell me why the "committer" view of
Hudson [1] and the  
public, anonymous view [2] are completely out of sync?    AFAIK the
 
two views render the same result sets, the only difference
being the  
committer view allowing greater control over configuring,
starting and  
stopping jobs.  Can anyone help with this?
