Jason Holmes commented on JBIDE-389:
------------------------------------
I may be a little confused with the publishing vs. packaging
concept going on.
Currently I'm using the Publish option in the JBoss Server
View. I find the module I want, right click and do a
publish. I would love it if this method had an explode
option as described in the original request.
Is that what this feature request covers?

> For Web devolopers it would be really time-saving to be
able to do "exploded deployment" of Web
applications..
> Publishing to an exploded deployment should copy new
CLASS/JSP/HTML/CSS files from your web project to a folder
(called webprojectname.war) in the deploy folder of the
chosen JBoss server instance..
> Then you would not have to redeploy the webapplication
for every minor change (ex. editing text on a JSP or HTML
page)...
> You schould also be able to make a complete
redeployment of your web project where the server adapter
would re-create the web application structure..
