My apologies for some recent server instability at the
jabber.org IM
service.

We think the cause was some bad data in the database. We
have removed
the offending data and the ejabberd team is also looking
into some code
changes that will prevent that kind of bad data from causing
server
crashes in the future. We are monitoring the situation and
will report
back if we continue to experience instability.

Thanks for your patience.

Peter

I do as well experience heavy connection problems for a
couple of days
now. I also appreciate any info on the current problem.
Thanks in advance.

Nico.

As mentioned, it seems that we had some kind of attack. I
was offline
last week so I am still working with the other members of
the jabber.org
infrastructure team to determine what happened.
