I have both installed wildfire and ejabberd once on a
windows based
platform. Both worked. As far as i know wildfire doesn't
support virtual
domains but ejabberd does. They both have a webbased
management system which
is handy on windows based platforms (jabberd2 works with
config files)Both
seem to be good applications.
There is a possibility to test ejabberd from disk, somewhere
on the page of
ejabberd you can download some kind of iso file. Burn it and
start it up.
look if you like ejabberd. This saves you a lot trouble
installing erlang
etc.

Oliver
