Jabberd conference room logging - client or server side?

Hello I am a newbie jabberd administrator (debian jabberd
1.4.3 + MUC).
I have a question concerning room logs... where are they
stored? is it
done on client or server side?
if i have logging set to 0 in channel xml file is it done by
the client
and if 1 by server? if yes where the logs can be found?

Server side.

The client can of course log as well, but of course you
can't configure
that in the server.

That depends on which chatroom software you are using. Look
at the
documentation for your software (e.g., mu-conference) to
figure it out.
