shouldn't that be "SQLite authreg (c2s) support"
(instead of SM support)?

BTW, this change also broke tools/db-setup.sqlite (as the
file was already
there since 2.1.1).

Right.
I made a mistake during commit and then copied it from svn
log.

It essentially contains each "CREATE TABLE"
statement twice (I think the
patch you applied assumed that the file would need to be
create, but the
file already existed and therefore the content is now
essentially
duplicated).
