How to get property type

Dear all, 
I want to get properties type. Is there is any way (API) of
Webdav for it.
Actually i want to get properties name with their type like
this:-

displayname = string
contentlength = integer
creationdate = date

Can anybody knows it?

think this is supported in Slide.
