When I connect Windows to my successfully deployed version
of Slide
(running from Tomcat) I see the following directories:
actions, files, history, projector, roles, users,
workingresource,
workspace
I was expecting the root directory to be empty and behave
like a disk.
Could someone please explain the purpose of all these
folders, I don't
see it documented anywhere?
Thanks,
Dave

Hi,
actions - a list of possible actions
files - here you can store your files
history - here slide stores all the revisions of the files
you store in
/files
roles, users - lists of users and groups. It is used for
authentication
and authorization.
projector, workingresource, workspace - I really have no
idea what's the
purpose of these directories.
If you want to use slide as a disk, you could map /files
directory as a
disk in Windows (for instance).
Hope this helps.
Regards
Martin
