I'm having the most peculiar behavior when using the Slide
cmdline
client against the SAP Portal WebDAV service. It connects
ok. However,
running ls commands doesn't show the contents correctly -
leaves out
folders. When I turn on debug, I can see the
"lost"
collections/resources in the XML output. I can connect
using the same
credentials using Win2k Network Place connection and
navigate folders
just fine.
ls and ls -l also return different results. I tend to see
less
resources with ls -l.
Since I can browse the WebDAV service via Windows Explorer,
I know what
folders should be there. I can cd to specific paths that I
know via
Windows Explorer. However, running forms of ls continue to
return
incorrect results.
Only a few of the folders in question return HTTP 403, which
seems to
mean that I don't have permission to those folders - which
is expected.
It's been a few months and lots of other projects, but I'm
certain that
I've successfully used Slide to connect and browse a SAP
Portal WebDAV
service. The alleged success was a different SAP Portal
WebDAV
service.
