First tell me what client your are coding in. Are you using
"C#" or any other.
1) If you are using .Net , then you need .NET webdav library
for putting, getting files and many file operations for
Slide Server.
2) If you are successful to PUT , GET files to and from
slide server using "lib" , then the only thing is
remain that is "Open" that file in
"MS-Word" Program.
thank....

Subject: example or tutorial on open-edit-save word file
Hello,
I am new to Slide and want to create a portlet/webside (in
J2EE ) that displays a Word icon( a link), the idea is that
students click on it, then at the cleint side Word opens
with their personal doc-file. Then they alther it, they
click on save (which saves it to the server side). I looked
on the jakarta site and wiki and googled it, but I find
little usefull info.
Has anyone a good example or tutorial on how to realyze
this?
Regards,
Erik
