Hallo,
I made a little program to perform a webdav-get. It runs
nicely when it
i used with admin-rights on a windows machine, but fails to
do anything
when it is launched by an ordinary user. Is there a way to
make it work
for any user ?

A WebDAV GET is not really different from a HTTP GET - same
method. I
don't know why this should require admin rights. What
happens when you
try to access WebDAV Server (Slide, I assume) with a
browser?

.. or are you also running the WebDAV Server locally with
this user
(maybe a problem with opening the server port)?

Anyway you should get some kind of exception or error
message. It would
be helpful if you could provide some more details.

Your are right, the problem seems not to be in the WebDAV
part but in the
mkdir statement just before, there seems to be a problem
with creating
directories and writing files, so I think I will have to
look round in the
security policy part for information. But thanks for the
information.
