onclick on Flash in IE

I am trying to set an onclick event on a a Flash movie in
IE. I can
get it to work in FF, but not in IE. I also tried putting a
transparent other element on top of it, and putting the
onclick on the
parent element. Both methods failed. An extra complication
is that the
element is inserted using javascript, to avoid the Eolas
issue.

Any clues?
