Autocomplete not working with IE..completely...

I know, 'what's that subject mean?' hahah let me explain.

I have combined a couple of .js libraries that I am using
for a
construct that i would like to build.

Here is the thick of it. I found this great autocomplete
.js file here:
http://
www.codeproject.com/jscript/jsactb.asp

I've combined that autocomplete script with scriptaculous'
ajax.inplaceeditor module found here:
http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/
Ajax.InPlaceEditor

I have the scripts working fine and dandy with Firefox (big
surprise),
but it won't work 100% with IE (even bigger surprise).

Here is the test URL:

http://www.christopherchin.com/ajaxautocomplete.html

Click "add tag", then type something like,
"alliance" in the input field.

you'll see all tags with the word alliance show up as a
dropdown under
the input field. In FF, this works like a charm.

Now open it up in IE and do the same steps. nothing shows
up.  But,
if you minimize IE then restore it, the autocomplete
selections show up.

to me, that's a bit mind boggling. Minimizing makes a .js
work?  ::
scratching head::

Anyone have an ideas around this? maybe I need to redo my
scripting?

Thanks!
Chris
