Lavenia,

Take satisfaction from the fact that you're taking the right approach if you
really want to learn. Don't let those who are trying to get others to do all the
work for them detract from your efforts - even if they succeed in getting
someone to do so, they're not really succeeding at anything that matters,
because they're not learning anything.

Adopting your strategy helped me go from knowing zero about Web/IT 10 or 11
years ago to being a successful author and having a career that's taken me
places I couldn't even have imagined going, back then. I hope it works as well
for you.
