The following jsf fragment:

  <h:outputLink target="_top"
value="${...}">...</h:outputLink>

is encoded to:

  <a href="...">...</a>

Note the missing "target" attribute in the encoded
HTML link.

Yep.  Looks like something the unit tests, tck, nor RC
releases caught.

It's a bug in the outoutLink renderer.  It basically assumed
target being a
passthrough attribute which it is not.

Fix in progress.

I'm planning a 1.2_05 P01 to host this fix.  Depending on
the info for Issue
653, it could be out late today, but more than likely early
next week.
