Thanks Ryan for your reply, we'v been reading it thoroughly
but i am
afraid that we still dont understand it. I mean technically
it is
pretty clear what has to be done to get things working but
the added
value of the family attribute is not clear to us. The family
and the
rendertype combined is a composite key to get a renderer but
we dont
understand the use case for family, why is the rendertype as
a key not
enough? What can we not do if there was no such thing as a
family. Is
it ment for tools only?

Dennis
