Client-id : _id* is duplicated in the faces tree.

I receive so many of these "duplicate" id errors
in my pages.  I've been addressing it by adding my own id's
to each component, which seems to avoid the error.  However,
I'm growing weary of adding an ID to every single
h:outputText, et al.  


Is this issue symptomatic of a larger problem?  Is there
some configuration I'm omitting that's causing this?

I think the duplicate id issues are solved as long as you're
using the
correct versions.   The latest 1.1 facelets version +
myfaces core
should be ok.

Not sure what version of facelets is required for JSF RI
1.1.
