static entry under dynamic entry

I'm having trouble with a static entry under a dynamic
entry. My
static entry is
ou=Employees,discustomerid=...,disenterpriseid=...,ou=Custom
ers,dc=example,dc=com.
When I browse in an LDAP browser, I can navigate through
fine to the
level of discustomerid and get an entry like
discustomerid=AL802B,disenterpriseid=AL8020,ou=Customers,dc=
example,dc=com.
But when I try to search below that, it returns entries
without
the ... replaced by the actual values. Am I doing something
wrong or
is this a bug?
