Best way to embed jsp output in commons email?

I've been working with Struts 2 for a few months, and now
have the need to send out emails containing HTML.  I'm using
Commons email, and would LIKE to embed the HTML output of
certain actions within the email I'm trying to send.  But
I'm unclear on a good way to do this.

Is there a way to return the HTML from an action within my
action class itself so that it could be inserted into an
HtmlEmail object?
