Senior Java Engineer, Server-side Developer
(Location: Santa Clara)
As Senior Engineer, you will be part of a seasoned and
dynamic
engineering team building state of the art business
intelligence and
information retrieval applications using Java, J2EE, and the
latest
Web and Search Engine technologies. In this leadership role,
you will
design and implement innovative and scalable algorithms for
analyzing
large enterprise data warehouses.
You will be responsible for all aspects of product
development,
including architecture, design, implementation, testing and
documentation. With strong product component ownership, you
will have
the design and architectural freedom to determine product
and
technology solutions that best meet the needs of our
enterprise
customers. You will also have exposure to the latest
enterprise
messaging technologies and infrastructure.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5 to 7 years of experience designing and developing
complex systems
and algorithms.
• Experience in developing distributed high-performance,
multi-threaded server applications is required.
• Experience in building applications using Java in J2EE
environments
is required.
• Experience in text indexing and search systems is highly
desirable.
• Knowledge of relational databases, schema and object
design is
essential and experience with Java frameworks such as
servlets, JSPs,
web portals and application delivery is desired.
• Experience in object oriented design, C++, and Microsoft
messaging
technologies such as MAPI and Active Directory is desired.
• Excellent communication skills required, must be a strong
team
player and self-motivated in solving customer and technical
challenges.
