Java Team Lead

Location: Arkansas

Duration: 3- 6months +

Rate: $55.00/hr (possibly higher for the right candidate!!)

 

Skill Sets:

 

*	3+ year PM experience in technology projects
*	Managed at least 2 projects over $1M, >15 person team,
> 6 months,
>2  customer areas, >4 IT technology areas
*	5+ years managing and motivating technical people
*	Ensure on-time task completion
*	Ability to summarize status, concerns, issues for upper
management
*	Ability to organize multiple component projects into
workable units
no greater than 40 hours
*	Ability to manage program conversion and data conversion
initiatives
*	Ability to translate technical requirements/work efforts
into
measurable deliverables and results
*	Ability to review project strategy to deliver
recommendations on
project phases and quick win approaches
*	Ability to gather requirements, assess and manage risk,
and manage
scope
*	Ability to organize multiple project technical paths into
manageable
and efficient work packets
*	Measures success in ability to drive to results and
customer
satisfaction
*	Understands the big picture
*	Turn ambiguity into options and action
*	Recent Microsoft Project creation and management
experience
*	Technology Experience in Java, OO development, Weblogic,
Struts,
*	Hibernate (a plus), Spring (a plus), DB2, Cobol (a plus),
Jbuilder,
MQ (a plus)
*	Facilitate technical strategy discussions
*	Create and track timelines
*	Manage customer expectations
*	Solid communication skills with all levels of the
organization
*	Early identification and resolution of red-flag situations
*	Own overall accountability for project
*	Ability to devise process checks and balances to
proactively
identify project issues
