Title: Load Tester (Performance)

Job description:
Expert Level - Performance/Load Test QA Automation analyst
will be responsible for complex & highly integrated
software systems that are internally developed. Requirements
or use cases may be basic or advanced.
Analyst must be very experienced at deriving testable
requirements rapidly under less than ideal conditions.
Analyst must be very experienced at developing
performance/load test strategies, detailed test plans, test
cases, test data, test coverage, and reporting status.
Experience with a formal QA methodology is required, along
with experience determining what to optimize for an
aggressive schedule without violating the integrity of a
test. Ability to prioritize and multitask is critical.
Ability to work in a team environment among others with
multiple competing priorities is critical.
Should be experienced testing applications that work with
Oracle, DB2, MQ, Weblogic, Tibco, in a Sun/Java,
Linux/JRockit. Ability to navigate the mainframe is
desirable.
QALoad is utilized to simulate multiple users, app servers
are monitored with ServerVantage. Experience with
Application Vantage is a plus.
Candidate must be able to work alone, and very experienced
in both the art and science of performance testing complex,
highly-integrated business applications running in a very
high transaction environment. These are not simple web-site
applications. They involve complex UI, and extensive
messaging APIs utilizing MQ.
May involve significant unplanned overtime, including
Saturdays.
May require staggered shift at times (starting at noon - 8
or 9 pm).
Candidate must have strong command of the English language,
enabling him/her to clearly read, write, and comprehend
fluently.
This position *requires* performance testers who have proven
skills with QA Load.
