intelligence. You would be part of the core engineering
team, writing
an application that leverages the latest in Java, J2EE and
search
engine technologies. The role offers as much responsibility
as you can
handle, from architecture to design to implementation to
testing. More
broadly, you will also get visibility into how a
high-growth,
venture-backed startup operates which is great training for
starting
your own company after this.
Salaries are market or above with a significant stock option
component.
Personal qualities are more important than specific
experience. But in
general, we ask for some combination of:
2-4 years experience designing and developing distributed
high-performance, multi-threaded server applications.
Experience in object oriented design, Java, Microsoft
technologies,
and relational database modeling are is also highly
desirable.
Experience with applications using Java and J2EE
environments, ideally
building large data-driven applications.
Knowledge of text indexing, search systems, and Java
frameworks such
as servlets, JSPs, web portals and application delivery is a
plus.
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
