I.       ; DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one LACE Developer Analyst, hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of ITSAC Developer Analyst Level 3, Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire”; and are the property of the TxDOT. TxDOT may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. TxDOT will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker.  Services of the Worker shall include, but are not limited to, the tasks listed below:

·         May perform any or all of the functions described in “Full Descriptions of IT Staffing Services TitlesR21; for “Developer Analyst221;.

·         Work includes application development, coding, debugging, testing, fixing and documentation. 

·         Coordinates their work and the work of other developers and reports to the Project Manager. 

·         Provides regular status reports of work performed to the Project Manager.

·         Installs or prepares build package for installation of application at user site.

·         Enters, monitors and addresses defects stored in ClearQuest tracking tool.

·         Updates application Technical Architecture as required.

·         Uses Microsoft SourceSafe for code configuration management.

·         Updates workflow diagrams using Visio.

·         May create or modify Crystal Reports.

·         Will provide knowledge transfer to TxDOT staff.
