Jared,

i've done this on most of my network. However the 12 port FE
pic
(P/PE-12FE-TX) only does 1532 bytes max MTU (and this only
with newer
firmware...). This is why i am asking.

With 1524 to 1530 of MTU size should works, but remember you
will need 
to increase the MTU on your Switch too..
