Good morning...
Again, I am sifting through posts on the website. I am NOT getting
these posts in my email box. I am getting a few emails, I am not
bouncing according to Yahoo, so this is frustrating to me.
In answer to this question, yes, it is my laptop, and I have been
holding it on my lap for FAR too many hours! It has caused redness of
my legs and I am now beginning to use it at a table!( not near as
comfy, but it is helping me dicipline some computer time too).
Yes, the external drive needed a FireWire. We bought the External
drive when we bought our new/used laptop, and the woman we bought it
from said it needed a FireWire Cable. We did finally call Western
Digital and ordered the cable and the cost is $10.50 and no shipping
cost. Hopefully it will be the right one.
Now to figure out what is wrong with Yahoo!!!!

Well, Joyce, you did fine on your cable, price wise, since there was no
charge for shipping.
Thee have been problems with Yahoo mail, but I believe they have been
solved.
My thought is that perhaps your email from Yahoo groups is being treated
as Spam. I would look into the filter configurations, and Spam folder, of
your ISP's email site, as well a your email client.
