Funny thing, I have never tried Opera email. I have never found any
evaluations of it on the web; so, I just never tried it.
I did not interpret the remarks to indicate that Fabian could not type in
other programs, while Opera was running; but, that does make sense.
Opera is an easy uninstall and reinstall. All of the settings and configurations
will be saved. I always download first and Save the new one. It is easier, in
case of re-install, or to go back to a previous version. I have never had to go
back to a previous Opera version; but, I have with a few other applications.
If re-installing seems like a good idea, I would Download and Save, log off
the net, and close all programs, including security programs.

shrinking/enlarging
If the only time you can't type anything is when you're in the
Opera
program, I'd say that that, plus the text changing problem, would
suggest that you need to uninstall Opera and then reinstall it.
It
sounds like it has gotten confused somewhere along the line, and
hopefully
a re-install will cure it.
Not sure if you need to backkup all your
email before you do this ...
maybe Robert can enlighten us on that point.
(I don't use Opera)
